M2M

"M2M" stands for "Machine-to-Machine" and refers to direct communication and interaction between machines or devices without human intervention. This type of communication allows data to be exchanged between different machines to automate specific tasks, monitor information, or perform actions.

M2M communication takes place in a variety of applications, including the Internet of Things (IoT), industrial automation, smart grids, vehicle networking, medical devices, and more. For example, sensors in an industrial process could automatically send data about production parameters to a control unit, which then automatically makes adjustments to the machines to optimize the process.
